eCommerce Manager

Position Purpose:

Working closely with the marketing team you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Mister Zimi’s online store and the implementation of the digital sales strategy. You will combine an enthusiasm for constant improvement with comprehensive attention to detail to ensure the continual optimisation of the customer experience. This role is ideally based in our Byron office, but exceptional remote candidates will be considered.


  • The day to day management of Shopify and all peripheral platforms required for ongoing function of an industry leading ecommerce website, including but not limited to POS, email marketing, social media, inventory management and order fulfilment
  • Assist in the execution of digital marketing communications, including weekly updates to site content, EDMs and other campaigns, liaising with external providers as required 
  • Maintain the business marketing calendar to ensure all communication channels are aligned
  • Assist in execution of an SEO strategy
  • Continual on-site optimisation and cart recovery
  • Identification and execution of relevant on-brand digital marketing initiatives
  • Initiate strategies to improve retention and customer lifetime value, while minimising returns
  • Ensure constant subscription growth across mailing list and all social channels
  • Identification of relevant technological innovations to improve efficiency and return from all ecommerce and related platforms
  • Ongoing refinement of website aesthetic and functionality, and overall end to end user experience, including both on-site and off-site customer touchpoints
  • Constantly look to identify improvements that will drive integrity and efficiency in operations including social and environmental outcomes

Qualifications and Experience / Background:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in managing an online store
  • Strong experience using Shopify Plus and related applications
  • Consumer goods/retail industry experience highly desirable
  • A demonstrated problem solving capacity
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce systems and peripheral platforms
  • A strong understanding of the Mister Zimi product and brand
  • Understand and align to the Mister Zimi vision & values
