We want you to absolutely love your new Zimi! Below are some tips and tricks around how to care for your new styles and make them last forever.
Viscose is a semi synthetic fabric that breathes and behaves like silk but is considerably more durable and easier to care for.
- Gentle machine or hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent.
- Fabric will contract after washing. Simply use a hot iron or garment steamer to return your garment back its original size and shape.
- Do not wring or twist, soak in harsh detergents containing bleach or stain removers, and do not tumble dry.

- Our denim is designed to fade, please take care with light coloured clothing and upholstery as colour may transfer.
- Avoid tumble drying to maintain original garment shape for as long as possible!
- Avoid abrasive surfaces. Patch test before using waterproof sprays and leather protectors as they may change the colour of the item or strip the leather of its natural oils.
- Due to the nature of the tanning process, the colour of some Zimi leathers may transfer. See individual care guide on the product page for more information relating to your product - or reach out to customer care if you are unsure.
- In most instances, cleaning with a dry or lightly damp cloth is okay. However, some Zimi leathers must only be cleaned professionally, please see individual care guide on the product page for more information - or reach out to customer care if you are unsure.
- Do not wring or twist, soak in harsh detergents containing bleach or stain removers, and do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Avoid abrasive surfaces and apply suede protector before first wear. Patch test before using protectors as they may change the colour of the item.
- Due to the nature of the suede pile, some areas may appear darker than others. This is not a default but natural to the uniqueness of your suede product.
- We suggest using a special suede brush to maintain the original suede finish. Remember to brush with the grain.
- To protect Zimi suede, we recommend storing your suede in a box or garment bag in a dry, well ventilated area to avoid mildew, dust build up and fading.
- Do not wring or twist, soak in harsh detergents containing bleach or stain removers, and do not machine wash or tumble dry.

- Rinse immediately after use. We only suggest hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent.
- We suggest you reshape your crochet while the fabric is damp and lay flat in the shade to dry.
- Do not wring or twist, soak in harsh detergents containing bleach or stain removers, and do not tumble dry or iron. Do not hang the garment while wet, as this may result in stretching.
- Gentle hand wash in cold water separately with a mild detergent.
- We suggest you reshape your knit while the fabric is damp and lay flat in the shade to dry. Tip: Before laying out to dry, roll you knit in a towel and press to remove excess water.
- If necessary, cool iron on reverse side.
- Do not wring or twist or soak. Do not use or stain removers, and do not tumble dry or dry clean.
Please note: Pilling will naturally occur during the course of wear for all natural fibres. This is to be expected and can be easily removed with a de-pill comb or fabric shaver. We recommend gentle regular de-pilling once every 3 wears to preserve longevity.
