Role Purpose

Reporting to the CORE Senior product developer, you will be responsible for executing highest level fit, performance and quality of the Mister Zimi Core category. Providing construction, fit and grading expertise you will ensure the Mister Zimi Core product meets superior quality, fit, product compliance and performance outcomes. Working closely with the Core senior product developer, you will attend fit sessions, create and maintain garment specs packs, document fit comments, coordinate fabric test and bulk inspection reports and check and prepare bulk inspection report finding for shipment approval.

Core Responsibilities

• Attending fit sessions to add input to garment fits, function and consistency.
• Identify quality and construction during the fitting process.
• Documenting all fit updates.
• Creating specs from original samples, photographs and hybrid styles.
• Reviewing factory digital patterns to identify and communicate fit corrections and grading outcomes.
• Daily communication with offshore suppliers.
• Measuring fit and bulk samples.
• Working within critical path priorities.
• Oversee issuing of care instructions and labelling/packing methods to ensure the quality of bulk goods is maintained.
• Checking in-house and third-party bulk goods inspection results and reporting findings to the CORE Product Developer.
• Performance test bulk fabrics and garments.
• Uphold product compliance and international standard regulations.
• Continually update the Mister Zimi Product Manual to include best practice and changing regulation guidelines.
• Work within Mister Zimi’s social, ethical and environmental policy guidelines.
• Internal systems data input.
• Perform local quality checks when required.
• Record fabric detail and content information for online publishing.
• Work within internal AI-assisted report-checking developments.

• 10+ years’ experience in womenswear.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance.
• Strong garment compliance knowledge.
• Extensive woven product experience.
• Previous experience with digital patterns.
